Some left field sequals were announced this week, they included "Point Break 2:The return of Gary Busee" or something similar and the more interesting one "S.Darko" a sequal to cult hit Donnie Darko. Now i enjoyed what i understood from this film and i was suprised writer/director Richard Kelly had decided to do a sequal, but then i found this:

"To set the record straight, here’s a few facts I’d like to share with you all - I haven’t read this script. I have absolutely no involvement with this production, nor will I ever be involved. I have no control over the rights from our original film, and neither I nor my producing partner Sean McKittrick stand to make any money from this film".

The sequel follows Donnie’s younger sister Samantha, 7yrs after his death. She sets off with a friend on a road trip to Hollywood when she starts to have visions. With Kelly not on board, i cant see this doing anything even close to the first film. it a shame they are going to tarnish Donnie Darko with this crap.

Raekwon the Chef (Wu-Tang) finally gives fans a taste of what they can expect from OBFCL2 the follow up to his classic debut album Only Built For Cuban Linx. This is long awaited by fans and me. The track called "The G hide" featuring who else but Ghostface Killah. Im enjoying this track but i find it hard for anything to stand up to Rae's debut.

i have been watching NZ rapper Savage(Dawnraid) climb the Itunes Charts with his track "Swing" that was included in the film "Knocked Up". With the new found fame he sold 100,000 downloads, signed a world wide deal with Universal and had "Swing" treated to a remix that features Soulja Boy. I dont know about that remix.
"Swing" currently sits at #14 on the HipHop itunes charts.
